Cairo – Mubasher: The global depository receipts (GDRs) of the Egyptian companies listed on London Stock Exchange (LSE) surged collectively on Thursday, on the gains of EFG-Hermes's GDRs.
EFG-Hermes's GDRs were the most gainer as they added 9.5%, while the GDRs of Telecom Egypt were the sole decliner.
EFG-Hermes's GDRs went up by 9.5% to $2.14. The highest and lowest prices reached $2.26 and $2.08, respectively.
In the same vein, the stocks of EFG-Hermes's on Egypt’s bourse went up 8.9% to EGP 10.79 after the company announcement of selling its stake in in Credit Libanais for $33 per share.
