Cairo – Mubasher: Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport (HCMLT) is targeting total revenue of EGP 9.8 billion and a net profit of EGP 3.6 billion during the fiscal year 2019/2020.
The company’s estimated budget showed a targeted growth of 32.3% to EGP 2.7 billion and a 49.4% growth in subsidiaries’ investments, according to an official statement released on Friday.
The board of directors of the holding company issued a report that included key current and planned projects, among them a marine bridge connecting Egypt to Africa.
The bridge project is aimed at providing logistics and cargo services to boost foreign trade through a set of integrated services that incorporate land transport of goods, customs clearance, sea freight, warehousing, and insurance.
