Cairo - Mubasher: Kandil Steel is planning to invest $40 million to boost its production of galvanized flat iron by 50%, chairman Amr Kandil told Alborsa New.
The company is aiming at raising its production capacity from 600,000 tonnes annually to 900,000 tonnes by 2019, he added.
Egypt’s iron and steel exports hiked by 97% to $863 million in 2017.
