Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources denied reports claiming that the country exported two shipments only of liquefied natural gas (LNG) since the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Exports of LNG increased to 1.6 billion cubic metres of equivalent gas during the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2020 as the country exported 17 shipments in the October-December period of 2020, compared to six shipments in Q1-20, according to a statement on Tuesday.
Since the beginning of 2021, the number of LNG shipments reached eight to nine each month.
