Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Local Development Fund approved loans worth EGP 5.2 million to 697 micro- and small-sized enterprises in 13 governorates, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Tuesday.

The loans included funding to 104 projects in eight villages covered by 'Hayah Karima' (Decent Life) initiative with total investments of EGP 1 million, the local development minister Mahmoud Shaarawy said.

It is noteworthy to mention that the minister directed governors to delay loan repayment for a three-month period from 1 April to 30 June due to the repercussions of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
