Egypt’s M2 slips 11.55% in February - CBE

Cairo - Mubasher: Money Supply (M2) in Egypt declined by 19.4% year-on-year in February, data by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) showed.

The North African state’s M2 stood at EGP 3.68 trillion at the end of February, up from EGP 3.64 trillion in January, according to the CBE.

It is worth noting that the country’s M2 rose by 11.95% in January as compared with December 2018.
