Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government has spent EGP 5.4 billion on 251,000 mirco-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) during 2018, creating 407,000 jobs.
Around EGP 31 million were pumped into infrastructure, social development, and training projects, which created 208,000 jobs, executive director of Egypt’s MSME Development Agency, Nevine Gamea, said.
Gamea added that the MSME agency signed 30 agreements with 18 international organisations to secure $910 billion (EGP 16 billion) in finance.
