Cairo – Mubasher: A total of 3,372 small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have been granted approval to be financed with more than EGP 516 million during July and August under “Mashroak” (Your Project) initiative.
Mashroak has implemented 128,545 projects spread across all governorates until August using loans valued at EGP 11.5 billion, according to a statement released by the Egyptian Ministry of Local Development on Tuesday.
This programme is part of the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) initiative to support SMEs with loans at interest rates not exceeding 5%.
