Egypt’s New Administrative Capital receives 16 offers for Phase 1

Cairo - Mubasher: The chairman of the New Administrative Capital Company said that 16 companies have proposed final offers to obtain lands in the first phase of Egypt’s New Administrative Capital project.

Ayman Ismail added in his remarks on the sidelines of the Builders of Egypt Conference on Wednesday that the number of applying companies is an achievement for the first offering in the project.

When asked about China Fortune Land Development (CFLD), the world’s biggest construction company, exiting the project, Ismail negated a complete cancellation with the Chinese.

He indicated that negotiations are ongoing to carry out other parts in the project, he explained.

Ismail said in February that the two parties didn’t reach a mutually satisfying agreement in respect to the price per metre of implementing the project.
