Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s receipts from Suez Canal increased by 2.8% year-on-year during the first nine months of fiscal year 2018/2019, according to data released by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on Thursday.
From July 2018 to last March, receipts from Suez Canal amounted to $4.273 billion, compared to $4.158 billion in the year-ago period.
Total transportation receipts recorded $6.461 billion in the nine-month period ended 31 March from $6.384 billion in the corresponding period a year earlier.
