Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt's Suez Canal revenues reached $401.4 million (EGP 3.09 billion) in February, up 5.1% or $19.4 million y-o-y, said Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish.
The strategic waterway saw revenues of $381.9 million at the same period of the previous year.
The number of vessels passing the canal reached 1,300 in February, compared with 1,219 vessels at the same period of the previous year, up 6.6%.
Overall traffic through the canal increased in 2015 by 2% to17,483 vessels.
