Egypt’s Supply Ministry agrees with producers, importers on price stabilisation

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Ministry of Supply and Internal Trading (MSIT) has held a meeting with the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) and the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) in which the attendees agreed on the stabilisation of goods prices following the increase in the prices of fuel.

The MSIT, FEDCOC, and FEI agreed on Friday that producers, importers, wholesalers, and retailers will absorb the increase in the costs of transportations pertaining to fuel, according to an official statement.

Earlier in June, Egypt's Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced the raising of fuel prices.
