Egypt's Zayed Spark to be re-offered to investors

Cairo - Decypha: The Egyptian government will offer Zayed Crystal Spark to investors within the coming three months, Walid Abbas, Vice Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) told Decypha in an exlusive statement.

The project will be offered as a public private partnership, Abbas added that incentives will be announced for the project to reduce the negative impact of the Egyptian pound's devaluation on the cost of construction.

NUCA has put forward the Zayed Crystal Spark Project during the Economic Summit in Sharm El Sheikh in March 2015, but the negotiatons have failed for undisclosed reasons.

The project was expected to be built on an area of 190 acres (798,000 sqm), and include both administrative and commercial areas.
