Cairo – Mubasher: Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has announced that the annual core inflation rate stood at 11.6% in April.
The monthly core inflation recorded 1.1% in the fourth month of 2018, according to an official statement released on Thursday.
In March, Egypt’s core annual inflation declined to 11.59%, while monthly core inflation registered 0.7%.
Earlier on Thursday, the Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics (CAPMAS) stated that Egypt’s annual inflation plunged 12.9% year-on-year last month.
