Egypt's annual inflation rate declines 7.5% in February


Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's annual inflation rate saw a slide of 7.50% in February, 2016, compared to 7.73% last month, said the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).   

 The monthly rate declined to 0.88% in February against 0.98% last month, CBE stated.

Earlier, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistscs said that the general consumer price index went up to 177.4 points in February from 175.5 points in January, higher 1.1%.
