Egypt’s antiquities ministry denies suspension of National Museum’s construction

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Ministry of State of Antiquities has denied the suspension of the construction of The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC).

The constructions of the NMEC are executed according to the scheduled plan, which will see the inauguration of the project in 2020, the ministry added in a statement.

The ministry said that the temporal exhibition hall in the NMEC had been opened early 2017 and that three different halls were planned to be opened in mid-2019.
