Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s bank deposits jumped 32% year-on-year in April, the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) data revealed.
Local-currency deposits rose to EGP 2.26 trillion by the end of April 2018, compared to EGP 1.71 trillion in the same month a year earlier, the CBE added.
Month-on-month, banks' deposits inched up from EGP 2.23 billion in March, the data showed.
