Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced that all banks will be off on Thursday, 12 March.
This decision follows an announcement by the Egyptian government for a paid day off for all public- and private-sector employees due to bad weather conditions.
As a result, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) also decided to halt trading during Thursday to be resumed on Sunday, 15 March.
