Cairo - Mubasher: Egyptian Banks’ aggregate financial position (excluding the CBE) reached EGP 2.4 trillion by September 2015, against EGP 1.96 trillion by the end of 2014.
Credit extended by banks to companies and clients recorded EGP 771.6 billion by the end of September, compared with EGP 629.2 billion by the end of 2014.
The banks' assets inside Egypt recorded EGP 330.9 billion by September 2015, compared with EGP 222.1 billion by the end of December 2014.
On other hand, the banks' assets outside Egypt declined to EGP 52.7 billion by September 2015, down from EGP 56.4 billion by the end of December 2014.
