Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced that it would close on 23 December on the occasion of Prophet Mohammed's birthday for the year 1437 Hijri.
EGX will resume trade normally on Thursday, 24 December.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian Central Bank announced that all the Egyptian banks would be on vacation for the same holiday.
