Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX)indices moved lower in Tuesday's early trade, as the benchmark index fell 0.73% to 6,695.3 points on selling pressures from Arab investors.
The small and mid - cap index EGX70 sagged 0.31% to 369 points, while the broader index EGX100 edged down 0.22% to 767 points.
Similarly, the equal-weighted index EGX50 slide 0.82% to 1,163.98 points.
The market's total turnover recorded EGP 48 million, with 42 million shares through 2,400 transactions.
Local and foreign investors came as net buyers with EGP 1.5 million and EGP 1.4 million respectively, while Arab investors came as net sellers with EGP 2.9 million.
Tracking stock performance, the stocks of Mohandes Insurance, Saudi Egyptian Investment and Pharaoh Tech went down 7.6%, 5.8% and 4.9% respectively.
On other hand, the stocks of Sabaa International Co., Ajwa Group and El Kahera Housing advanced by 9.8%, 6.7% and 4% respectively.
