Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange indices declined collectively in Thursday’s session early trade as the benchmark index fell 0.67% to 6,035 points amid selling pressures by local investors.
The small and mid-caps index EGX70 drifted lower 0.48% to 351 points, while the broader index EGX100 inched down 0.34% to 721 points.
The equal weighted index EGX50 eased 0.35% to 1,154 points.
The market’s trading value amounted to EGP 46 million, in Monday’s early trade, with 16 million shares changed hands carried out through 3,000 transactions.
Local investors came as net sellers with EGP 1.4 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 726,000 and 647,000 respectively
