Egypt's bourse edges higher in early trade

Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchnage (EGX) indices moved higher in Tuesday's early trade drived by the gains of the leading stocks.

The benchmark index EGX30 inched up 0.28% to 6,375 points.

The heavy weight Commercial International Bank inched up 1% to EGP 43.2, with trading value of EGP 5.4 million.

The small and mid-cap index EGX70 went up  0.52% to 346 points; while the broader index EGX100 edged up 0.28% to 738 points.

Similarly, the equal-weighted index EGX50 added 0.44% to 1,085 points.

Arab and foreign investors came as net buyers with EGP 2.2 million and EGP 982 million respectively, while local investors came as net sellers with EGP 3.2 million.
