Egypt's bourse edges up in mid-day trade

Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) revised early losses partially, in Wednesday’s mid-day trade amid the purchases of local institutions and Arab investors.

The benchmark index EGX30 inched up 0.35% by 12:30 Cairo. Time zone.

EGX indices declined collectively in Wednesday’s early trade, as the benchmark index EGX30 went down 1.2% to 6,330 points.

"EGX was hammered by the negative news about the results of the investigations related to the recent crash of the Russian aircraft in Sinai," said Ahmed Abdel Hamid, managing director of Watheeqa Securities in earlier statement to Mubasher.
