Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices reversed their early losses, as they ended in green zone on Tuesday.
The benchmark index EGX30 added 0.05% to close at 5,896.65 points.
The small and mid-cap index EGX70 went up 0.97% to close at 336.41 points.
Meanwhile, the broader index EGX100 inched up 0.67%.
The stocks of heavy weigh Commercial International Bank, EFG – Hermes, Orascom Telecom Media, Talaat Moustafa and Orascom Construction advanced 0.22%, 1.3%, 1.79%, 1.15% and 0.14% respectively.
Foreign stepped in as net sellers with EGP 63.5 million, while Arab and local investors came as net buyers.
The market witnessed 221.2 million shares changed hands worth EGP 501 million.
