Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices extended their gains in Sunday’s midday trade amid the buying activity of Arab investors.
The benchmark index EGX30 advanced 3.9% or 223 points, reaching the level of 5,936 points.
Arab investors stepped in as net buyers with EGP 22.4 million, will local and foreign investors came out as net sellers with EGP 17 million and EGP 5.4 million , respectively.
The heavy weigh Commercial International Bank, Orascom Media, Palm Hills and Talaat Moustafa surged 3%, 5.9%, 5.5% and 1.6% respectively.
