Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices extended its gains on Wednesday’s session midday trade.
The benchmark index EGX30 leaped 1.3% or 76.8 points reaching the level of 5,973 points.
The small and mid-caps index EGX70 added 0.08% to 355.7 points, while the broader index EGX100 gained 0.63% to 714.3 points.
The equal weighed index EGX50 inched up 1.1% to 1,088.9 points.
The heavy weigh Commercial International Bank advanced 0.06% to EGP 31.5 with trading value of EGP 62.6 million.
The local and Arab investors stepped in as net buyers with EGP 16 million and EGP 16.7 million respectively, while foreign investors came out as net sellers with EGP 32.7 million.
