Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices moved lower in Monday’s session early trade, as the benchmark index fell 1.5% or 91 points reaching the level of 5,902 points.
Number of the market’s leading stocks drifted lower, topped by the heavy weigh Commercial International Bank that lost 1.8% reaching EGP 31.09, with trading value of EGP 607,500.
The small and mid-caps index EGX70 inched down 0.22% to 355.6 points. Following suit the broader index EGX100 edged down 0.28% to 713.6 points.
The equal weight index EGX50 declined 1.15 to 1,084 points.
The market turnover reached EGP 6.2 million in Monday’s session early trade.
Local and foreign investors came out as net sellers with EGP 49,600 and EGP 67,800 respectively, while Arab investors came as net buyers with EGP 117,400
