Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened on mixed note on Thursday, amid selling activity by foreign and Arab investors.
The benchmark index EGX30 slide 0.05% reaching 8,253.5 points in early trading.
The small and medium caps index EGX70 went up 0.26% reaching the level of 335.25 points, while the broader index slipped 0.3% to the level of 789.89 points.
The equal weighted index EGX50 added 0.35% reaching 1,285.4 points.
Thursday early trading witnessed 48 million shares changed hands worth EGP79.8 million.
The heavy weighed Commercial International Bank added 0.19% to the level of EGP51.6.
