Egypt’s bourse likely to extend upside trend - Analyst

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) benchmark index EGX30 is expected to extend upside movement on the short – run, said Hoda El Menshawy, Head of research at Egyptian group securities.

“The benchmark is adopting upside trend on the short run near the levels of 8,3517 and 8,350 points, although of the recent market’s fluctuations,” said the analyst.

The benchmark will continue moving between the levels of 7,836 and 8,453 points, if it didn’t succeeded in breaking above the level of 8,350 points, noted El Menshawy.

“Today’s session may witness buying activity over selective stocks,” said El Menshawy.

The benchmark closed Wednesday’s session up 1.12% or 91.86 points at the level of 8,291.51 points.
