Egypt’s bourse likely to see sideways trend - Analyst

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) is expected to witness sideways movement on Sunday where the benchmark index EGX30 may test the first resistance level of 12,300 points, said Ayman Fouda, head of capital market committee at the African Economic Council.

The benchmark is expected to witness support at the levels of 12,039 and 11,700 points, while it may face resistance at the levels of 12,550 and 13,000 points.

As for the small and medium caps index EGX70, Fouda said it is expected to gain support at the levels of 464 and 469 points, while it may see resistance at the levels of 455 and 442 points.

Egypt’s bourse closed last week trades on positive note as the benchmark added 0.34% to close at 12,420.3 points.
