Egypt’s bourse moves higher in early trading

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices opened on positive note in Thursday’s session early trading, as the benchmark index went up 0.13% or 10.40 points to the level of 8,210 points.

The small and medium – caps index EGX70 inched up 0.05% to 360.7 points, while the broader index EGX100 lost 0.19% to 798 points.

The equal weighted index EGX 50 added 0.53% to 1,421.7 points.

The market was triggered by the leading stocks of Edita, Oriental weavers, Talaat Moustafa, Juhayna and Global Telecom.

The market witnessed 96 million shares changed hands, in early trading, worth EGP 135 million excuted through 4,300 transactions.
