Egypt’s bourse moves lower in early trading

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened in negative note in Thursday’s early trading, where the benchmark index inched down 0.84% or 68.4 points to 8,064 points amid selling activity by foreign investors.

The small and medium caps index EGX70 slide 0.14% to 357.8 points, while the broader index EGX100 remained stable at the level of 816 points.

The equal weighted index EGX50 eased 0.24% to 1,363.2 points.

Thursday early trading witnessed 16.4 million shares changed hands worth EGP 70 million.
