Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) benchmark edged lower in Thursday midday trading on selling pressures by Arab investors.
The benchmark index EGX30 slide 0.77% or 89.19 points reaching 11,380.57 points.
The small and medium caps index EGX70 added 1.09% or 4.85 points reaching 450.75 points.
The market witnessed in Thursday midday trading, 340.4 million shares changed hands worth EGP 1 billion, executed through 26,900 transactions.
