Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange indices advanced collectively in Wednesday’s session early trade, as the benchmark index added 0.3% or 18 points to close at the level of 6,022 points.
The stocks of Commercial International Bank, Global Telecom, EFG-Hermes and SODIC went up by 0.82%, 0.54%, 1.04% and 0.69% respectively.
The equal weighted index EGX50 added 0.35% to 1,085.7 points, while the small and mid-caps index EGX70 inched up 0.40% to 350.4 points.
The broader index EGX100 edged up 0.31% to 704.5 points.
The market witnessed 30.5 million shares changed hands worth EGP 55.5 million, carried out through 3,600 transactions.
Arab and Foreign investors came as net buyers with EGP 457,000 and EGP 288,000 respectively, while Arab investors ended as net sellers with EGP 745,000.
