Egypt’s bourse opens of negative note

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices kicked off Sunday session on negative note amid selling pressures by local investors.

The benchmark index EGX30 slide 0.93% or 106.2 points to reach at 1,124.6 points.

The small and medium caps index EGX70 slipped 0.31% to 446.4 points, while the broader index EGX100 went down 0.4% to 1,057.6 points.

The equal weighted index EGX50 eased 1.37% to 1,764.7 points.

Sunday early trading witnessed 36.9 million shares changed hands worth EGP 109.8 million.
