Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices opened on mixed note on Tuesday, as the benchmark index EGX30 edged down 0.18% to 6,969 points on the decline of the leading stocks.
The stocks of Commercial International Bank, EFG-Hermes, Pioneers and Emaar Misr slide within the range of 0.3% to 1.1%.
The small and mid-cap index EGX70 went up 0.48% to 378.3 points; while the broader index EGX100 gained 0.19% to 784.7 points.
The equal-weighted index EGX50 inched up 0.11% to 1,189 points.
The trading values reached EGP 62 million, with 34 million shares changed hand through 2,600 transactions
Local and Arab investors came as net buyers with EGP 1.7 million and EGP 1.1 million respectively, while foreign investors came as net sellers with EGP 2.8 million.
