Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange opened on mixed note on Tuesday, as the benchmark index EGX30 edged down 0.54% reaching 6,113.6 points.
The small and mid-caps index EGX70 added 0.19% to 351 points, while the weighted index EGX50 inched up 0.3% to 1,152 points.
Similarly, the broader index EGX100 fell 0.7% to 722 points.
The market trading value amounted to EGP 57.6 million, in Tuesday’s early trade, upon trading 26.5 million shares carried out through 3,000 transactions.
Local investors were net sellers with EGP 4.1 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 1.8 million and EGP 2.3 million.
