Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened on positive note on Sunday as the benchmark index EGX30 went down 0.03% to 8,314 points.
The small and medium –caps index EGX70 added 0.19% to 365.86 points, while the broader index EGX100 gained 0.16% to 812.06 points.
The equal weighted index EX50 edged up 0.10% to 1,405.69 points.
The stocks of Qalaa Holding, Ezz Steel, Juhayna, CIB and Palm Hills declined by 0.39% to 0.97%.
Foreign and Arab investors came as net sellers with EGP 477,000 and EGP 4.9 million respectively, while local investors came as net buyers with EGP 5.4 million.
The market witnessed 36.12 million shares changed hands worth EGP 110 million.
