Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange kicked off Sunday’s session on negative note, as the benchmark index EGX30 went down 0.26% or 16.8 points to 6,186 points.
The small and mid-cap index EGX70 edged down 0.02% to 349.3 points, while the broader index EGX100 slipped 0.08% to 708 points.
Similarly, the equal weighed index EGX50 declined 0.67% to 1,108 points.
The heavy weighed Commercial International Bank fell 0.68% to EGP 33.8, with trading value EGP 3.7 million.
The market turnover reached EGP 15.8 million in Sunday’s early trade.
Arab and foreign investors stepped in as net sellers with EGP 969,000 and EGP 7,500 respectively, while local investors came as net buyers with EGP 976,800.
