Egypt’s bourse opens on negative note

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened on negative note on Sunday as the benchmark index EGX30 slide 0.40% or 50 points to 12,370.4 points amid the gains of the leading stocks.

On other hand, the small and medium caps index EGX70 gained 0.53% to 464.2 points, while the broader index EGX100 went up 0.02% to 1,100.27 points.

Commercial International Bank, the largest constitute of EGX30, eased 0.49% to EGP 71.5

Sunday early trading witnessed 52 million shares changed hands worth EGP 224 million.
