Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices moved higher in Tuesday's early trade, as the benchmark index EGX30 added 0.40% or 26 points to reach the level of 6,789 points.
The stocks of Commercial International Bank went up 0.41%, while the stocks of Orascom Telecom Media, Global Telecom, Amer Group, EFG-Hermes and Pioneers surged 0.4% to 5%.
The small and mid - cap index EGX70 inched up 0.05% to 366.5 points, while the broader index EGX100 added 0.16% to 755.4 points.
Similarly the equal-weighted index EGX50 inched up 0.29% to 1,151.9 points.
Tuesday's early trade witnessed 35 million shares changed hands worth EGP 45 million, through 1,800 transactions.
Foreign and Arab investors stepped in as net sellers with EGP 2.6 million and EGP 1.5 million respectively, while local investors came as net buyers with EGP 4.1 million.
