Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange opened on positive note on Monday, as the benchmark index EGX30 added 0.38% reaching 6,238 points.
The small and mid-caps index EGX70 went up 0.57% to 355 points, while the equal weighted index EGX50 surged 1.09% to 1,204 points.
The broader index EGX100 edged up 0.35% to 731 points.
The market trading value amounted to EGP 79.5 million, up on trading 65.7 million shares carried out through 4,000 transactions.
Arab and foreign investors came as net buyers with EGP 1.7 million and EGP 630,000 respectively, while local investors were net sellers with EGP 2.3 million.
