Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange indices moved higher on Tuesday’s session early trade, amid heavy liquidity.
The benchmark index EGX30 went up 2.15% to 7,154 points.
The stocks of EFG-Hermes, SODIC, Pioneers Holding, Orascom Telecom Media and Talaat Moustafa Group went up between the range of 2.3% and 12.5%.
On other hand, the stocks of Commercial International Bank, Ezz Steel and Global Telecom went down by 0.13%, 0.45% and 0.4% respectively.
The equal weighted index EGX50 surged 2.51% to 1,318 points, while the small and mid-caps index EGX70 inched down 0.60% to 362 points.
The broader index EGX100 added 1.12% to 766 points.
In Monday’s early trade, the market trading value amounted to EGP 312.7 million, upon trading 130.4 million shares carried out through 9,900 transactions.
Foreign investors came as net buyers with 38.3 million, while local and Arab investors came as net sellers with EGP 14.2 million and 24 million respectively.
