Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) kicked off Sunday’s session on positive note as the benchmark price index added 0.25% or 20 points reaching the level of 7,934 points.
The small and medium caps index EGX70 inched up 0.67% to 348 points, while the broader index EGX100 rose 0.04% to 789 points.
The equal weighted index EGX50 went up 0.49% to 1,327.9 points.
The stocks of Eastern Tobacco and Telecom Egypt added 2.8% and 0.75% respectively in early trading.
Sunday early trading witnessed 13.2 million shares changed hands worth EGP 35 million.
