Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened on positive note on Tuesday, as its main indices advanced collectively amid buying activity by local and foreign investors.
The benchmark index EGX30 added 0.74% or 85.82 points reaching 11,628.5 points.
The small and medium caps index EGX70 gained 1.20% to 437.9 points, while the broader index EGX100 advanced 0.94% reaching 1,043 points.
Tuesday early trading witnessed 251.6 million shares changed hands worth EGP 646.3 million.
Local and foreign investors were buyers with EGP 41.5 million and 1.2 million respectively, while Arab investors were sellers with EGP 42.03 million.
