Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened on positive note on Tuesday amid buying activity by Arab and foreign investors.
The benchmark index EGX30 added 0.65% or 80.1 points to the level of 12,370.7 points.
The small and medium caps index EGX70 went up 0.14% to 465.44 points, while the broader index EGX100 gained 0.22% to 1,101.75 points.
The equal weighted index EGX50 rose 0.54% to 1,945.54 points.
Tuesday early trading witnessed 62.6 million shares changed hands worth EGP 169.6 points.
