Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened on positive note on Thursday, as the benchmark index EGX30 added 0.87% or 114.4 points to close at 13,203.47 points.
The small and medium caps index EGX70 went up 0.66% to 469.9 points, while the broader index EGX100 gained 0.75% to 1,143.98 points.
The equal weighted index EGX50 edged up 1.09% to 2,023.3 points.
Thursday early trading witnessed 69.6 million shares changed hands worth EGP 282.45 million.
