Cairo-Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said Thursday it would auction EGP 9 billion in treasury bills.
The EGP 9 billion will be offered through two auctions: a 182-day auction at a value of EGP 4.250 billion and a 357-day auction at a value EGP 4.750 billion.
The country's budget deficit widened to EGP 138.5 billion, or 4.9% of gross domestic product (GDP) within 4 months during the period July -November 2015, against EGP 107.9 billion for the similar period of the previous year.
