Egypt’s c.bank auctions EGP5bn in T-bonds 29 Feb

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s central bank said it will auction today treasury bonds worth EGP 5 billion to finance the country’s budget deficit.

The T-bonds will be offered in two auctions: 5-year bonds worth EGP 3.250 billion and 10-year bonds worth EGP 1.750 billion.

Last Monday, the central bank raised EGP 6 billion from selling treasury bonds.
